Hi! I'm Fiona Johnston—also known as Nightenghale. I'm a 23-year-old writer, artist and photographer with Scottish, French and Austrian roots, who's passionate about capturing the beauty of the world and people around me. As of today, I am based in England!
My creative journey has taken many forms. I first started with traditional art, bringing my imagination to life on paper. When I struggled to convey moments and stories visually, I turned to writing, where then nickname Nightenghale was born. Originally the name of my book’s main character, a project I dedicated five years to on Wattpad, I adopted it on most social media and writing platforms. After years of storytelling, I transitioned to digital art, refining my skills and expanding my creative expression, starting with stickers and simple art, and finally, moving to book covers. Eventually, I discovered photography—a medium that allowed me to capture the world exactly as I see it.
Art, in all its shapes and forms, has always been a part of me. Now, I’m excited to share my work and perspective with you—embracing both the grace and imperfections of the world around us.
